Conceptual Curvature

What is curvature?

Each drift session explores a set of topics. Curvature measures how sharply the conceptual direction changes between consecutive drifts. A straight path (low curvature) means sustained focus. A sharp turn (high curvature) means a sudden shift to new territory.

The top panel traces the trajectory through concept space. The bottom panel shows the metric tensor — the shape of the space itself, where topics cluster by co-occurrence.
